About Rising Roots Sanctuary

A home for remembering what has been forgotten, and reconnecting with your own intuition, power, and purpose.

A space where healing can unfold with care and intention.

A space where you can release what no longer fits and rediscover your own inner guidance.

A space where transformation is supported not only by skilled facilitators, but by community and the natural world itself.

A Sanctuary for Transformation

Rising Roots Sanctuary was created as a place where you can step away from the noise of everyday life and return to what matters most - your inner wisdom, connection with mind/body/spirit and nature, and the truth of who you really are.

Rooted in integrity, safety, and reverence for the healing intelligence of nature, our retreats offer a supportive environment for deep emotional healing, spiritual exploration, and authentic transformation.

This is not about escaping life.

It is about remembering how to live it more fully.

Why Rising Roots Exists

Have you ever felt you’ve reached a point in life where the roles you’ve carried - caregiver, professional, partner, parent - no longer reflect who you truly are?

On the outside, life may appear successful or stable.

But on the inside, there may be burnout, grief, disconnection, or a quiet sense that something deeper is calling.

We have witnessed how powerful it can be when we’re given a safe and supportive space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with ourself and the world in a sacred and meaningful way. Rising Roots Sanctuary was created to offer that space.

Our Philosophy

At Rising Roots Sanctuary, we believe healing happens in relationship.

Relationship with ourselves.
Relationship with others.
Relationship with the Earth.

Our retreats are designed to honor all three.

We combine trauma-informed therapeutic practices with earth medicine healing, somatic work, restorative mind/body/spirit practices, and nature immersion to create experiences that support deep emotional processing and meaningful integration.

Our intention is not simply to create powerful experiences, but to help those experiences translate into lasting transformation in everyday life.

We approach plant-based healing practices with humility, reverence, and responsibility.

These traditions deserve respect, thoughtful preparation, and careful integration.

Our role is not to direct your journey, but to create a safe and supportive container where your own inner wisdom can emerge.

Healing in Community

While much healing and transformation happens internally, it is often strengthened when it unfolds in safe connection with others.

Most of us carry our struggles privately for years.

In a supportive community environment, something powerful happens:
stories are witnessed, emotions are validated, and the nervous system learns that it is safe to be seen.

Our retreats include:

• Witnessed sharing circles
Non-judgmental listening
Collective practices that support nervous system regulation
Ritual and intentional gathering
Authentic connection without pressure to perform or mask

Participants often share that the sense of connection and shared experience becomes one of the most meaningful aspects of the retreat.

Reciprocity with Nature

Nature plays an essential role in the work we offer.

Our retreats are held in beautiful natural settings where participants can reconnect with the rhythms of the earth and the restorative power of the natural world.

We approach plant-based healing practices with deep respect for the intelligence of plants and the traditions from which these practices originate.

At Rising Roots Sanctuary we strive to honor:

• Land acknowledgment and respect for the places that host our work
• Education about plant intelligence and sacred plant traditions
• Practices of gratitude and reciprocity
• Stewardship of the land and environment

Nature is not simply a backdrop for retreat experiences — it is an active participant in the healing process.

Meet the Founders

Jessica

Jessica Eden is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addictions Counselor whose work bridges clinical mental health care with spirituality, nature-based healing, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. She has spent years supporting individuals through trauma, grief, addiction, and major life transitions, helping them reconnect with their inner wisdom and capacity for transformation.

Jessica’s path into this work was shaped not only by professional training but also by her own personal journey of healing and spiritual exploration. After experiencing periods of depression, anxiety, burnout, and loss, she began exploring spirituality on her own terms through connection with nature, intuition, and contemplative practice. These experiences deepened her understanding that meaningful healing often involves both psychological and spiritual dimensions.

In addition to her clinical background, Jessica is a certified psychedelic-assisted therapist and incorporates somatic and energetic modalities into her work, including Angel Reiki and Acudetox, to support nervous system regulation and holistic healing. She is especially passionate about helping women reconnect with their intuition, reclaim their authentic voice, and create lives that feel aligned, purposeful, and deeply fulfilling.

Catherine is the founder of Emotional Triggers Treatment (ETT), a trauma-informed therapeutic approach she developed to help individuals resolve the emotional triggers that contribute to anxiety, depression, anger, grief, relationship struggles, and other persistent patterns.

She received specialized training in Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy through Therapsil in Vancouver, Canada in 2023 and follows clinical research and best practices in the use of psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Her work combines evidence-based therapeutic care with compassionate support, helping clients release deeply rooted emotional patterns and move toward greater freedom and wellbeing.
